Advice needed: How do I seal this vintage metal serving tray?
I found this serving tray at an antique store a while ago and of course fell in love. I don’t know how old it is or what metal is it made out of, (maybe tin or aluminum?). It was dusty as hell when I bought it so I went over it with a wet paper towel and found out every time I wipe it more of the paint comes off. Does anyone have any advice on what I can do to seal this tray so I don’t remove anymore of the paint? I don’t necessarily want to use it for serving but I need to be able to clean and dust it. I really don’t have room in my house for a nonfunctional uncleanable serving tray.  :(
Any advice?
